On Friday afternoon, April 19, in San Antonio, Texas, WBC junior middleweight champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (41-0, 30 KO's) and WBA champion Austin ‘No Doubt’ Trout weighed in ahead of their unification clash.

Alvarez weighed in at 153.5 pounds while Trout (26-0, 14 KO's) came in at 153.25 pounds, each man comfortably making the junior middleweight limit.

Alvarez vs. Trout takes place tomorrow night from the Alamodome, with Showtime Championship Boxing televising the proceedings.

The fight represents a crucial fight for both men. Trout is coming off of the biggest victory of his career this past December, when he went into Madison Square Garden in New York and upset Puerto Rico’s beloved Miguel Cotto.

Alvarez is coming off of a stoppage victory over Josesito Lope this past September in Las Vegas.

Many boxing insiders look at Trout as the first legitimate test of the 22-year old Alvarez’s career, with some questioning the level of his opposition thus far into his young pro journey.
